Have you observed that no matter
how blazing the sun is, kids in Africa will always go out to play in it
barefoot? It’s not like they’re unresponsive to heat or something, they just
don’t concentrate their thoughts on it. Fact is, the sun can only cause
discomfort if you keep your mind on it
Even at your places of work, if
y’all are full of activity and urgent assignments, your ACs can be on, and as
cold as sub-zero, but you wouldn't feel or realise the cold until someone comes
in and says “Wow! Here’s so cold.”
Same way, the people you think
are your enemies can only do well in their supposed dislike if you keep your
mind on them, and if you take offence in everything they do. If you ask me, the
odds of being a success in whatever you have a thing about is going to be so
remote if you cannot dispense with the bullshits, assumed enemies, detractors
and doubters.
It’s a thing of the mind, and the
mind is our gift of consciousness and thought, in addition to helping us to
think and to feel, it is what tells us to be aware of situations X, Y or Z.
Don’t allow the misdirections of this world to fuck with your mind. Always
remember Psalm-27 even if you’re not a Christian - Ya Heard?
