When you're fairly affluent or influential in a world where people are
only concerned about what they can get, it is very important and healthful to
overstand what they’re capable of doing.
Some folks will try to inflate your ego or manufacture mischievous
stories about other people in their vicious effort to get close to you, to get
back at, gain victory over or keep bad feelings upon those that they point
their cunning fingers at.
If you ask me, don’t let the carry-go-bring-come get away with
falsehood. Rather than acting on impulse and be apologetic soon after, and for taking
an unforgivable side, try to look at the positive side of the one that whistle is
being blown on and in knowing that time will verily tell on the liar.
