Not all 'Serignes' are sincere...

You and I were told by our ‘Serignes’ and preacher men to be ‘greed-free’, to try to do with a little bit less; to give to the deprived so that their existence on the breadline may also improve. Wonderful oration, but is that really the case, how many ‘Serignes’ aren’t richer than 100 of their patrons put together, but still keep talking, faking and taking…?

How many of these ‘holy men’ aren’t using their charisma to rip-off riches from deluded followers [who apparently get pleasure from being gullible]? How many of them do take a look into the source of such ‘openhanded’ offerings; how many can’t you see riding mighty rides, dinning at the finest eateries and sleeping in houses cozy enough to get in the way of their religious retreats.

Yet they’ll pray and induce expectations that some miracle will take care of the followers and y’all will say Amen to that…?

This is no doubt a tirade, but not necessarily about the abundance of the ‘Serigne’ or how ‘Serigne-hood’ has been malformed from being a convention and culture to a very lucrative enterprise; it is not a tirade about how well-heeled the ‘Serigne’ has become from the offerings gotten from the poor people who have faith in him.

This gripe is about them that veil their opulence whilst accusing others genuinely hustling to get paid as being worldly and money-oriented people …that is not fair.
