To me, privacy is a leading component for any long-lasting relationship.
I am not saying people [especially ladies] don’t reserve the right to
talk big about their ‘magnificent’ partners, but IMHO, only a fairly
small dose should do. No one can satisfy society’s unquenchable
curiosity to know the whole lot.
If you cannot stop talking
about all the details; like the width of his heart, the breadth of his
pocket, or even the length of his pants then you shouldn’t get mad at others for butting in; and you now why?
...because your action is more than likely to trigger an envious
eagerness in the ones you talk to; they may also want to enjoy what you
have or go to incredible lengths to see you lose it, and you won’t be
able to blame anyone but your chatterbox habit.
I have seen
affairs fall to pieces even before they’re officially coupled; seen
friends flirt with hubbies and boyfriends of friends simply because
their obsession and fascination was provoked.
Truth is, it is a
natural yearning of every lady is to have the ‘ideal man’; therefore if
you think you’re blessed with one, maybe just shutting up about it can
help you lock it up....Unfaithfulness will succeed more rapidly against
the one who confides too much in everyone, one who doesn't make
allowance for ‘What ifs’...
