Just because you’re the same ruin that you were yesterday shouldn’t
give you any warrant to mislead your young ones into that same sort of
wildness. If you want to stay immature until further notice, that’s your
‘Wahala’, but to proclaim uselessness and childishness as tolerable
conventions is total bullshit.
Get this straight; if you've been there and done that, like scores of us,
it will be weirdly out of place to think that leading others,
especially the young ones into going back to that same shit will lessen
your guilt or perhaps give good reason to your tired-arse conscience,
If truth be told, many of us are now terribly disappointed by those
things we could’ve done when we were young, but didn’t do because we
thought doing so was perhaps going to render us so conformist or maybe
send us behind our times, so as a foolish alternative, we lived and
celebrated delusions…
…but the fact is, we may not be able to
erase or get away from our ugly past, but each of us can make amends for
it by telling it as it is; that irresponsibility has no better purpose;
that respectability, focus and good sense are the definitions of the
bigger meaning of life. Seen! It is healthier to be honest -
truthfulness is righteousness.
