Do you know when to know you’re grown up and not necessarily in
dimension, but in your attitude and general feeling? Now in case you don’t, listen
then let me tell you:
When you start to get disappointed by the interminable childlike banters
and juvenile hobbies of fools around you; when you demand respect and your
level of consideration and selflessness towards others similarly redoubles; when
your elders, your parents and community who used to give you guidance now
develop interest in listening to you; when they really appreciate your strength
of will… stuff like that!
Equally, you know you’re screwed up when you’re seemingly stuck between
childhood and adulthood, when you still do and find your nursery school perspectives
and excitements enjoyable; when your sense of playfulness and inconsequentiality
get in the way of your take on serious mature issues; when your way of thinking
cannot seem to keep pace with that of your equally adult buddies.
I overstand we cannot be serious and uptight about everything every
time, we sometimes need time to have fun. I am particularly kid at heart
sometimes, especially with friends and equals; I know it is fun to relive our cool
memories and let our silly nature out occasionally.
….but there is a ‘bloody’ time
and place for every-bloodclaat-thing, SEEN! There is a time to be playful and a
time to get serious, but most importantly, one has to overstand when to build
character and ripeness, and caution; excess of foolishness is thoughtlessness…Me,
I believe that one can be humorous without being a moron, ain’t nobody got time
for fools, times are so damn serious!
