Abraham Lincoln was quoted to have said: “Let not him who is houseless
pull down the house of another, but let him work diligently and build
one for himself, thus by example assuring that his own shall be safe
from violence when built.”
See, no matter what you may conquer or progress to, if there is nothing
at the bottom of it except straight up betrayal of the interest of
others, be clear in your mind that all you have is but a camel’s tail;
it can neither cover your rear nor chase away flies.
I have
devotedly observed that real go-getters don’t do that; they don’t
struggle to outclass or outshine anyone by pulling them down; they don’t
try to melt away the progress of others in order to stand out. They
self-start, do and achieve.
...and if you ask me, I’ll say
they best be left alone, ‘cause not even your ‘three-thirty-ten’
attempts to make them not as much of what they truly are will ever be
successful.
