In the end, some will wish and wish until they
wish they had never wished. Some will think until they wish they could stop
thinking. Others will try until they wish they had adopted the opposite of
trying. Some will do and do until they wish they hadn't taken up the art of
doing.
Some will give and give until they wish they
hadn't adopted the spirit of giving. Others will allow and bear until they wish
they had said no a long time ago. Some will hate and hate until they wish they
had embraced love… roll goes on!
Still, whether in its noun or verb form, you’ll
observe that ‘wish’ is constant in all the instances above; so technically we’re
all wishers, and whether you’re a doer, a detractor or a well-wisher, you’re
still a wisher, because even the act of detraction is motivated by the wish to
put a downer on other people’s wishes.
Therefore, when next you wish, make sure you
wish well and bear in mind that the consequences of every wish you make will
eventually have to be dealt with, either by wishing you had done it earlier, done
more or never done it at all - so wish well!
