Untruthfulness!

The damaging consequences of untruthfulness are not unlike the effect of malicious software on a computer system. It doesn’t stop at corrupting the mindset or damaging trust, but also causes loss of good judgment, because it will always invite and incite its cousins to join in.

"Cousins” meaning: unreliability, deception, randomness and inconsistency. [Nauzubillah min zalik]

But that’s not all. Untruthfulness also renders one’s prayers futile, because being untruthful will naturally lead to hypocrisy and I don’t know what ranking it is in the scripture but for my part, hypocrisy is the superintendent of all sins, and an act of allegiance to every inclination that is disinclined to God and humanity.

It doesn’t take an oracle to declare that the prayer of the untruthful is like the devil supplicating to God, and probably saying: “Please God I seek refuge with you. I swear down I am not Satan, I am Santa” – because Santa is like Satan spelled wrongly. But wouldn’t that be outrageously outrageous?
