Don’t hurt him, don’t change him,
and don’t expect for more than he can give. Don’t analyze. Smile when he makes
you happy, yell when he makes you mad, and miss him when he’s not there. Love hard
when there is love to be had. Because perfect guys don’t exist, but there’s
always one guy that is perfect for you.”
Beautiful viewpoint and it is
said to have been said by Bob Marley. See the type of love Rasta used to
advocate? Now replace the masculine pronoun with a feminine pronoun and you'll
get the sense of balance.
I believe the reason why old
school Artists are still looked upon with high regard and respect is because
they used to present a decent vibe especiall when it comes to love. They had
the idea that women are sweet and should be treated nice all the time. Now
unfortunately, any artist that refuses to join the musical sacrilege is boring,
because the trend is: let us misuse metaphors and turn insults into badges of
pride, and all what the fans love is an artist who'll flow like: “gyal yuh too
cute and yuh pum pum so tight” and the like. smh!
