It is said that life
is not unlike the month of Ramadan and I believe. As a result, and as long as
it is not declared finished, there is still chance to break the fast by
mistake. I mean there can always be an unexpected change in the course of
life’s events.
Diganteh haachi ak
dorr la, lunay hejj na si.
So in the interest of
crises management, the practical thing to do is to try not to be too confident,
knowing that even when the end seems certain, things can always go wrong,
especially when other people have bearing on what you’re looking forward to.
I am not a pessimist -
I am a moderate optimist and I have decided to keep it that way, knowing how
too much optimism can lead to serious disappointments. And it’s good to note
that I am not alone. Tonya Hurley said: “If you expect nothing, you can never
be disappointed.”
